So. It's late and i'm tired. But I said i'd try to write on here about how my goals went today. Well. I don't think I wrote it on here, but one of my goals was also to get up and have a quiet time. So here's what I did today:

   Woke up at 7:30. Had a quiet time. Went 2 miles on the treadmill (ran 1, walked 1). Showered. Got ready for the day. By this time it was almost lunch, but not quite lunch time yet. So I grabbed a small something to snack on. I attempted to start on my outline for my speech, but I had to organize my thoughts which, for me, takes awhile. Sooo. It was pretty much lunch time by now. I got lunch, ate, and went back upstairs. It was a beautiful day so I decided to take my work outside and lay in the sun while writing. So. I lay on my beach towel out in the sun, but you know when you have white paper outside in the sun it's like super bright? So bright that it completely blinds you? Yeah. Well that happened. And it just made me tired. Then I started getting hot. So I went back inside and tried to look up stuff on gymnastics (what my speech is going to be on). Problem: i'm sitting on my bed doing all of this. Next thing I know, i'm asleep. I think I was only asleep for like 30 minutes though, bc then Steph called and I talked to her for awhile. I got off the phone with her and continued on with trying to organize all of my points. I finally complete my outline (what all the points and subpoints are going to be). But now I have to actually start writing the thing. So i'm trying to think of a good Attention Getter for the beginning. Maybe a story of a gymnast who was injured, but still won the gold? Or not? How do I relate to the audience without giving away one of my points that will already be in my speech? All of these thoughts going through my head. Before I know it, my alarm is going off telling me that I need to start getting ready to head out to meet up with the gang to hang for a bit since I haven't done anything with them at all this Easter Break. Soooo. All that to say. I got 2 of my goals accomplished for the day that I wanted to:  quiet time and working out.  However, I made very little progress school-wise. And that blows. Super bad. Because i'm sooo stinking ready for this week to be over, and I haven't even started school for the week. Super buh!

Happy Easter

It is 14 minutes til tomorrow. So before it ends .... HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYONE (aka: David and Cindy). I hope you all (David and Cindy) had a great one!  Mine was pretty good.  I did nothing all day but eat and watch TV while hanging with fam. You should be proud David. I had (correction: HAVE) tons of school that I need to do for this week, but I did NONE of it. So yes. Me, being the smarty that I am, will have to do it ALL tomorrow. Boo school. Boo it ... BIG TIME!!

Anyways. Now that i'm done rambling about that.

Tomorrow is the first day of a brand new week. Thank the Lord it's still Easter break, even though it is our last day off.  Better than nothing though. It's crazy though. I'm so ready for this week to be over, and it hasn't even really started yet. Story of my life, it seems. Ha.

Well before I go too long and end up posting this after midnight, i'm going to go so I can write in my for real journal before hitting the sack. Goal for tomorrow:  Get up semi-early, run on treadmill (workout for the day), write rough draft of speech (which I still don't really know my topic yet, so that could be a problem), and make notecards for A&P test(s) (which, with the 2 tests together, could take 4 hours to make the notecards, easily). But then at the end of the day i'm hanging with some of the gang. So that'll be worth it. As long as I can get that other stuff done. I'll try to post sometime this week and let y'all (David and Cindy) know whether my goal was accomplished or not. Ha.

I haven't updated in awhile. Surprised? Yeah, me either.

Just a quicky though because i'm super tired.

It's finally Easter break. Woohoo for the 4 day weekend! I'm pumped!! But I can't fully relax because I have a speech to write and a lab AND lecture test to study for that I will have to take on Friday. Yes, both of them on the same day. Boo that. School seriously blows and i'm beyond ready for Summer, it's not even funny.

Umm ... about my life right now. It's good. I'm trying not to worry about the little things that I know Satan tries to use to bring me down. Especially when i'm getting good with my relationship with God again. But it always seems to happen this way. I have a burning desire to know God more for several weeks, but then that fire kinda starts to burn off. But I know it's just the enemy trying to discourage me from what God really has in store for my life. I just need to keep the focus. Ahh. Why is it so hard sometimes though?

Anyways. Enjoy your Easter weekend and break, and maybe i'll post more later. Goodnight David and Cindy. I miss all of our talks and our fun hangout times. Gooooood times. :)

It's been awhile ...

   So. It's been, what, 2 years? Hmm ... not too bad, huh? Ha. Well I don't really have time anymore to write on here, even though I still love the whole idea of blogging.  I'm more of a facebook fan now. I can get on and off quicker, and don't have to actually write anything if I don't want to. But like I said ... I still love the whole xanga thing because it's simple. You blog and that's it. So I don't know. Maybe i'll start updating again. Whether anybody reads it or not. I enjoy writing when it's for my own pleasure. I keep a journal, so I guess that kinda took the place of xanga ... but whatev.

   Hmm. Well. I guess i'll do a quick update on life. I'm a freshman in college now. Second semester, and praying i'll get through it with all passing grades and without having to drop any classes. Only through God's grace that that will happen though. Ha yeah ... classes are that tough this year. It's pretty insane. But oh well. Alot of my friends go to the school I do, so that makes it fun and interesting.

   Spring break was last week and was AMAZING!! I went to FL with the girls. Yeah ... I had so much fun with them. I'll post a few pics if I can. It was great though. Virginia went and it was great because we both needed it without even realizing it. I love her to death, and I hate that we've been so busy that we haven't been able to get together. But it was great getting to talk to her this whole week. She was such an encouragement. She always has been and I know she always will be. Anyways. It was also great getting to hang with Anna, Dianna, Katie, and Amanada. A great group of girls!! And we had some goooooooooood times. So yeah. That was a much needed trip.

   The fam is good. We're living with my grandparents now ... thank the Lord for them, and for them putting up with having 7 other people coming to live with them. Ha. It's actually coming up on the year anniversary of us moving in with them. Crazy. Also. Tonight was most of the high school Proms, and it made me remember back to prom of last year ... Senior Prom ... so much fun! I was actually jealous I couldn't go tonight. That's how much fun I had at those high school dances. Ha. Of course, no matter what kind of dance it is, I can have fun whether others think it's fun or not. It's dancing ... it'll be fun.

   I'm sure there's a whole lot more.  But it's past 2:00 in the morning and i'm pretty exhausted. So who knows. Maybe i'll update again at some point. We shall see. But until then ... adios.

   Ok .... so it's definitely been since Christmas. Wow!  Ok...well I guess those memories from the Michigan/Texas trip will just have to stay between those who went cause it's been too long for me to remember every detail and it would take a long, long time for me to type out everything that happened. Just know it was an amazing trip!

So it's almost Summer!  How crazy is that?! All my friends are finishing up school this week. That's so insane! Last Sunday at my old church was senior recognition. It was kinda sad cause I was sitting there with my friends and we were all like "that's gonna be US next year!" It's scary/exciting/sad all at the same time. I mean, in just 3 months i'll be a senior which is SO hard for me to believe. Ahhh! I'm ready but at the same time sad cause I know that it's so easy to separate from your friends. And those are some of my best friends ... the ones at church. My parents always say they hardly remember anyone from high school or they don't keep in touch anymore. But that was from SCHOOL. I think because my friends are from church and we've gone through things like on Mission Trips or whatever that have brought us closer that it'll be harder to break. At least I sure hope so cause some of those people I don't ever want to lose contact!

Anyways ... on to happier things. Ha. This Summer is gonna be jam packed for me! I think i'll be gone most of June and July. Like June 7-14 Andrew and I are going to OK to see some friends that we haven't seen in almost a year so i'm pumped about that!! Then June 26-July 7 i'm going to Sydney, Australia and New Zealand with the girlchoir and oh wow! I can't even begin to explain how excited I am about that! And our choir actually got invited to sing on the stage of the Sydney Opera House! Ahhh! How amazing is that?! So we'll sing some songs with some other choirs but for 20 minutes it's just going to be our choir. But then 5 days after I get back, i'm going on Mission Tour with the High School from my old church. It'll be July 12-21. I'm excited about that too ... it's just going to be a crazy 2 months! I will try my best to put some pictures up from all the different places. But most of them will probably just be put on Facebook.

Well I need to wrap this up. We moved several weeks ago and we still have boxes to unpack so I need to get going. I'll try to post soon even though I don't think anyone reads this anymore. Ha ... oh well!  Later guys ...
